CAD/CAM

The company operates three C.A.D./C.A.M. (computer aided design and computer aided manufacture) systems. Autocad is used to produce all the detail 2D manufacturing drawings, the use of this widely used platform allows the easy exchange of design data to and from our customers, allowing us to work closely with our customers design departments.

The company has invested heavily in the use of CAD and CAM in the generation of highly accurate pattern equipment. Delcam Power Shape and Rhino surface and solid modellers are used produce the models of all components which require castings. Using Delcam Powermill, these models are then used to generate the C.N.C. (computer numerical control) programs required to produce the pattern equipment. This ensures the castings produced by our foundry are of the highest accuracy and quality.
