Cooper Bearings

The Cooper type of pedestal bearing has proved over many years of service to be the most reliable and problem free. The units require little maintenance, which usually only involves one or two shots from a grease gun two or three times a year, i.e. 1000 working house is sufficient.

Teignbridge supply series 01 expansion type EX bearing units, which allow for any small axial movement of the shaft. A pedestal bearing is usually supplied with a general purpose felt seal, but other types are available to suit the customer’s requirements.

Every part of the bearing, including the rolling surfaces, can be inspected and/or quickly replaced without disturbing any other equipment fitted to the shaft. The bearing races and rollers are precision made from the highest of quality hardened carbon chrome steel.
